MATELEC sal was founded since 1974. It started manufacturing: o Distribution transformers since 1977 under license Alsthom - Unelec (France) o MV switchgears since 1980 under license Merlin Gerin (France) o Cast resin transformers since 1991 under license Ocrev (Italy). MATELEC has become the major supplier of the Lebanese market in both public and private sectors. It also exports its products to many countries in the Asian, European and African continents. ISO 9001 quality standard certificate has been granted to MATELEC in July 1996 by "SGS Yarsley - UK". Its products are designed and manufactured according to all international standards and other customer requests. MATELEC is located in Ghorfine, near Jbeil at 30 km north of Beirut. It employs about 250 persons and can mobilize more than 150 on sites. |

The product range of Matelec covers: 1-Immersed transformers from
25 kVA to 12,500 kVA, up to a voltage of 72.5 Kv In addition to a
wide variety of special transformers developed / manufactured on customer
request. 2-Cast resin dry type transformers from 160 kVA to 2,500
kVA, up to a voltage of 24 kV o MV Switchgears: Economic with Air
Switches (up to 1250A - 24kV), Compact with SF6 Breakers (up to 630A
- 24kV) and with withdrawal SF6 Breakers (up to 2500A - 24kV) 3- LV
switchboards, up to 6300A o Package Prefabricated Outdoor Substations
for electrical distribution 4-Control & Protection Panels for electrical
substations 5-Matelec's Engineering Department also realizes Turnkey
Electrical Projects including design, execution, civil engineering,
testing and commissioning and provides its clients with Operation
and Maintenance, Training and After Sales services. |
