Puriplast Liban is the only manufacturer of plastic laminated sheets in Lebanon. Established in 1972 by Antoine Abdel Massih, the company has produced resins and impregnated decorative and kraft papers scince its insepttion. In 1995 Puriplast Liban's assets totaled $6.5 Million. The sales turnover reached 12.3 billion LBP and net profits after taxes 772 million LBP. The company incresed its capital for the second time 2 billion LBP, Which enabled it to modemize almost all equipment in order to match the highest standard and satisfy customer demand. . . Puriplast currently produces 220,000 square feet of laminated sheets per day. Puriplast exports to the Middle East and Africa, as well as some European countries. With its staff of 120 professionals, Puriplast intends to triple production in the near future.
